Hats Made a Comeback at The Morris Museum

There is something so lovely & romantic about a ladies hat……I so often think they express a mood – the punctuation point on an outfit……A jaunty feather stuck in askew says “I’m feeling whimsical today!” & those veils that half shade the face offer a mysterious allure to a ladies ensemble.

The Morris Museum put together a fine collection from its permanent collection of over 200 years of  ladies hats.  I discovered this collection while rambling after visiting the “On The Road” motorcycle exhibit….So, sad to write the exhibit closed yesterday, but I was lucky enough to catch it before it closed and I hope you enjoy having a look at some of these wonderful hats.  Looking forward to what the museum brings out next
