Check out the Jersey Rocks exhibit at the Morris Museum of Morristown.  Takes you through NJ’s contribution to Rock & Roll from the 1950’s to today:  Its Artists – In addition to  Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons, Whitney Houston – There are the local bands & one hit wonders memorabilia displayed.   It’s famous Clubs & Venues:  artifacts & photos from Palisades Amusement Park, Capitol Theatre in Passaic, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.  Also I loved seeing some “antiques” like the 45 record carrying case, transistor radios & that 70’s class – the 8 track tape player.  I spent an hour milling around checking out the displays – a great one was a 14 minute video of NJ performers running on a loop.  Runs until Sept. 5th.
